Stand the chance to win!


Over the Easter weekend 32 Easter themed painted rocks will be hidden all over the centre and you must find them. The shopper who finds the most rocks and post it to social media stand the chance to win a R250 voucher from their choice of tenant at the centre.

How to play:
1. Search for rocks in all the obvious and not so obvious places.
2. When you find a rock, take a picture of it, and post it with the unique # code on the back to our official Facebook or Instagram pages.


You are welcome to keep the rocks you find.

Terms and conditions:

  1. By participating in the Sanbury Square Find The Rock Easter competition, participants agree to the terms and conditions set out below. The promoter reserves the right to disqualify a participant who does not comply with any of the terms and conditions of the competition.

  2. Participants must have a barcoded ID or a valid resident’s permit and must be over the age of 18 years to qualify for entry.

  3. The competition is open to everyone except the following people:

    • a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of or consultant to the promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter as well as a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition; or

    • a spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of a person contemplated in paragraph (a).

    • tenants and their staff: any staff member working in any shop at Sanbury Square – permanent and casual.


How to enter:

  1. Entry to competition is done by posting a photo of the rock and the unique hashtag code on its back directly to Sanbury Square’s official Facebook and Instagram pages.

  3. Competition starts on Friday, 2 April at 09:00 and closes on Monday, 5 April 2021 at 15:00.

  4. A total number of 32 rocks will be hidden.

  5. One rock and the unique hashtag code on the back equals one entry.

  6. Posting the same rock and unique hashtag code to both Sanbury Square’s official Facebook and Instagram pages will count as one entry only.

  7. Shoppers may enter as many times as they like.

  8. Posts without the unique hashtag code on the back of the rock are invalid.

  9. Due to COVID-19 restrictions including, but not limited to the limited number of staff, unexpected closure of shopping malls, implementation of a higher alert level lockdown, the prize may take between 10 – 15 days to secure.

  10. The prize is a R250 gift voucher from any tenant at Sanbury Square.

  11. It remains the winner’s responsibility to collect the prize from Sanbury Square’s security offices.

  12. To collect the prize, the winner must present a valid South African photo identification document or valid resident’s permit.

  13. The winner will be the person who posted the highest number of photos of rocks and its unique hashtag codes to Sanbury Square’s official Facebook or Instagram pages over the period of the competition.

  14. The prize winner will be announced on 6 April at 13:00 on Sanbury Square’s Facebook and Instagram pages and a private message sent via the channel they entered.

  15. In case of a tie, the winner will be randomly selected by an approved method and announced on 6 April 2021 on Sanbury Square’s Facebook and Instagram pages and a private message sent via the channel they entered.

  16. The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.

  17. By entering this competition, the entrant indemnifies the Landlord and its agents against any claims based on defective products or services awarded as the prize and the winner further agrees to enforce any rights against the retailer, distributor, importer or producer of such product or against the service provider of the service.

  18. The organisers of the competition reserve the right to cancel, change or postpone the competition at any time, without prior notice to entrees.
