Terms and conditions

The promotors of this giveaway competition are Sanbury Square and Retail Shop Space.
To run the competition, the promoters must collect and use the personal information of the participants. All information collected will be handled in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act of 2013. By entering the competition, participants consent to the collecting and using of their personal information solely for the purpose of offering the competition.
By participating in Sanbury Square’s Shop@Sanbury giveaway, participants agree to the terms and conditions set out below. Furthermore, you verify that you are unaware of any reason legally prohibiting you from entering this competition. The promoters reserve the right to disqualify a participant who does not comply with any of the terms and conditions of the giveaway.
To enter the competition, the participant must spend R250 or more at any store in Sanbury Square during the competition period as set out above, write their name and telephone number on the back of the till slip (no duplicates or photocopies, nor receipts for account payments or gift card purchases will be accepted) and drop it into the entry form box before the closing date of the competition.
The competition will run from 15 December 2021 until 31 January 2022. Late entries will not be accepted.
You may enter as many times as you like. Till slips without both a name and telephone number will be disqualified.
You may only enter this competition if you are 18 years of age or over. The winner will be required to present a valid South African ID document to accept the prize.
The prize is neither negotiable nor transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
There will be one winner who will win the 3 m x 3 m Wendy House and hampers.
The draw will take place on 4 February 2022 and the winner will be contacted telephonically on the number supplied on the back of the till slip entered.
It is the winner’s responsibility to collect the prize from Sanbury Square within seven days of being informed that they have won.
The prize may be subject to additional terms and conditions not mentioned hereunder but in accordance with relevant South African legislation. The Promoters reserve the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the original prize becomes unavailable for any unforeseen reason.
The Promoters will try to contact the winner for seven days following the draw. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to messages within that period of time, or chooses to decline the prize, then their prize will be forfeited, and another winner will be drawn as soon as possible.
The draw is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
By participating in this giveaway, the recipient indemnifies the Landlord and its agents against any claims based on defective products or services awarded as the prize and the recipient further agree to enforce any rights against the retailer, distributor, importer, or producer of such product or against the service provider of the service.
The organisers of the giveaway reserve the right to cancel, change or postpone the giveaway at any time, without prior notice to recipients.
The giveaway is open to everyone except the following people:
1. a director, member, partner, employee, or agent of or consultant to the promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter as well as a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition; or
2. a spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of a person contemplated in paragraph (a).
3. tenants and their staff may enter the competition, but they may not enter with a till slip from their store.
